When you say we can keep our flag, what exactly do you mean?At the conclusion of the Closing Ceremony, you may take your flag from the field and keep it. This includes the flag (3ft x 5ft), the pole (8ft long), the bow and dedication tag, and the rebar that holds it upright in the ground.
-
What if I cannot take the flag from the field after the closing ceremony. You may pick up a pole-mounted flag at the Asheboro/Randolph Chamber of Commerce (137 S. Fayetteville Street, Asheboro, NC 27203). Important Notice: Flags picked up at the Chamber office WILL NOT have the bow and dedication tag on them, and unfortunately we are unable to duplicate them when picked up after the closing of the Field of Honor.
-
What if I choose to NOT keep my flag?Any flags that are not taken by the purchaser are stored and used the following year. We make them available for dedication by another individual. We appreciate those that allow us to recycle their flags as it helps reduce the expense in staging the next year's Field of Honor.
-
Is this flag purchase, sponsorship, or donation a tax deductible one?Your purchase will be through the Asheboro/Randolph Chamber Foundation which is a 501c3 organization. You will receive a receipt that indicates it is a charitable contribution.
